Landlord Information
Preparing the property to Let
First impressions make a big difference and cleaning the property to a high standard will really help. Make sure the garden is maintained and if required carry out a programme of decoration. Professional tenants are looking for high quality rental accommodation and taking the time to attend to works required can pay dividend.
Finding you the best tenants.
The most important aspect of successful letting is finding the best quality tenants who will look after the home and pay the rent on time. We make every effort to minimise the risk to landlords and diligently assess tenant suitability from initial registration through to formal reference checks. We use the market leading independent reference company to confirm formal suitability. It’s really important to choose a professionally accredited letting agent. We are members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), The Property Ombudsman and The Tenancy Dispuite. This ensures total peace of mind that Chamberlains Estates operate to recognised standards and your money is always protected.
Inventories
After the tenancy agreement, a professionally produced inventory is a vitally important document to make sure everything goes smoothly when letting a property. Our inventories compile and detail the contents and condition within each property using descriptive text and comprehensive high-resolution digital photography. Our inventories also include meter readings and push button testing to all smoke and CO2 alarms which are photographed and their location recorded.
