Nightingale Christmas Cards 2020

Chamberlains Estates has once again supported The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre by printing their Christmas cards. This year, they have printed two new designs; Stained Glass Nativity and Winter Robin and both are already proving to be popular. For the last 5 years, Chamberlains Estates has been printing The Nightingale Christmas cards in order to help them raise as much money as possible through selling their Christmas
merchandise for those affected by cancer. In this time, nearly 20 different designs totaling over £5,000 have been printed in order to help the charity.

Andrew Ryde of Chamberlains Estates states “Chamberlains Estates has a long history of supporting local good causes. The Nightingale is on our doorstep and as I had marshalled at their Night Hike several times and helped at the It’s a Knockout event, they were an obvious choice for a chosen charity.

5 years ago we then became aware of how much Christmas cards cost charities to print, which heavily impacts the amount of money they’re able to raise and therefore made the decision to source and pay for The Nightingale Christmas cards ourselves. This not only means our donation goes further, as 100% of the sales proceeds go to The Nightingale, but the cards also help promote the charity to the wider community.

The Nightingale are a local, independent charity serving people living in or receiving treatment in the Borough of Enfield. They provide physical and emotional support services, groups and activities to all those who may be affected by a cancer diagnosis including patients, carers, family, friends and colleagues.

Louise Tully, Fundraising Officer for The Nightingale says that ‘without Chamberlains Estates we wouldn’t be able to print as many Christmas cards or fundraise as much as we do at Christmas. This year, due to Covid-19, fundraising has been especially difficult, but Andrew and his team have continued to support us and we are hopeful that this year, with their help, we will raise more than previous years.

All of The Nightingale Christmas cards come in packs of 10 and prices start from just £1, you can find all The Nightingale Christmas cards here.
